Fully funded Intro to Software Development Bootcamp for 16 – 24 year olds

Perth and Kinross Council in partnership with the Tay Cities Deal is piloting an Intro to Software Development programme that may be of interest to the young people you work with.

Please find a link to the Tay Cities Youth Academy taking place at the Creative Exchange here: Tech Training for Young People | Tay Cities Digital Skills Bootcamp – CodeClan

The programme is a four week fully funded software development bootcamp for young people aged 16 – 24 living in the Tay Cities Region (including Dundee). Students will learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript and by the end of the bootcamp will be able to carry out tasks of a web developer.

Laptops are provided and there is financial support for childcare and travel expenses.  There is no specific entry criteria i.e. students don’t need previous coding experience. What we’re looking for is a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in learning about technology, business, marketing, design, computers etc.
