About Us

The Discover Work service is the programme of support for job seekers and employers in the city. It encompasses a wide network of services delivered by a range of partners. Together, they form a collective approach to supporting people looking for work and employers alike.

About Discover Work

The services available include training in general skills such as developing a CV, Jobsearch Skills, Interview Skills and digital skills but also include specialist support from staff qualified to deliver services such as debt management and budgeting advice, provide support for people with health problems who want to work, give advice on childcare, or any other obstacles that people feel are standing in their way of working.

The service can also arrange work placements and volunteering opportunities, for people who want to gain experience in particular areas and provides information and training in Local Labour Market Information for Dundee – the types of jobs available now and into the future, and the skills needed to apply.

Specialist staff work with employers across Dundee to source job opportunities that are attractive and suited to the needs and aspirations of clients attending the service. Please have a look at our current vacancies to see some of the jobs available.
