Applications are now open for Discover Work’s Construction Academy 2026 delivered in partnership with Dundee & Angus College. If you are interested in working in the construction industry, this is your opportunity to take the next step! Please read on before completing the form linked below:
What to expect:
- 16 week (2.5 days per week) introduction to the construction industry
- Learn from industry professionals in an engaging hands-on style
- Meet employers and gain experience on-site
- Lunch, travel expenses and equipment supplied
Training modules in a range of trades and crafts including:
- Ground work
- Brick work
- Plumbing
- Joinery
- Roofing
- Solar Installation
- Retrofitting
- Painting
Ongoing support to take your next steps:

Important dates:
- Information Day – 11am, Thursday 20th August 2026 @ Dundee & Angus College, Kingsway Campus, DD3 8LE
- Full course dates: Monday 31st August to Friday 16th December 2026
To attend this academy you must:
- Live in Dundee or close by
- Be aged 18 or over (some exceptions apply, email contact@discoverworkdundee.co.uk for details)
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Be interested in working in the construction industry
- Register in advance and attend the Information Day
