A partnership of organisations can meet Linlathen residents at Brooksbank Centre, Pitarlie Road

A partnership of local and national organisations has worked with families in the Dundee area of Linlathen to bring an additional £70000+ into households as well as a range of other positive impacts, such as training and employment.

Families in Linlathen have been invited to Brooksbank Centre, Pitarlie Road for support on moving into work and out of poverty. Local residents can speak to a range of staff about benefits, childcare, health, transport and training options – essentially a one-stop-shop for those looking to prepare for entering or re-entering employment. Here are the remaining planned sessions:

The Child Poverty Dundee Pathfinder is a collaborative project between the Department for Work and Pensions; Dundee City Council; the Scottish Government and other partners to work together, focussing on families in Dundee who are looking for employment, with a view to supporting them out of poverty on a sustained basis though person-centred and holistic support.
